A restaurant wants a menu shoot and asked for unlimited usage of every frame. I have always licensed per image. How do you structure this without losing money or the client?
Price the day rate for your time, then a separate buyout for unlimited usage — typically 1.5 to 3x the day rate depending on the term. Show it as two lines on the quote so the client sees what the buyout costs.
